Joe Cefalu, Blink of an eye - Here’s what happens when shredders grow up. Cefalu was a Neal Schon and Steve Vai-loving speedster in the 90′s, but his new CD shows a more mature player, dialing back the chops in favor of tone, tasty runs, and plenty of funk and soul. “Palookaville” is a fine example of how Joe channels his post-shred technique. – PP
